Bangkok event

Staff are excellent and we loved our room. Good breakfast too. Location is very convenient. A short walk from the airport skytrain and I was very satisfied with the shopping options within walking distance of the hotel. If you walk up the main street past the railway tracks, then everything is definitely cheaper and more 'wholesale'. If you want to buy shoes (like, really, really cheap), there is a shop. If you want clothes made, there is a shop (great results!). If you want to buy RC cars, there is a shop. If you want a foot massage, there is a shop. I think it's a much more local area even though there are a decent number of tourists. It's like the prices are still reasonable and you still have all the facilities and conveniences you would want. Very happy overall.

The hotel has a great ambiance from both the exterior and interior with nice white marble flooring throughout. The stay was pleasant. More details below: Check In: - Was smooth but rooms won't be ready until 3 pm which is what is stated on the reservation and is normally not ready prior to that. We did not ask for early check in so that may be an option. Check Out: - smooth and they do verification of the rooms right then and there. If you leave anything or damages, they will ask you right away. Parking: - We didn't need parking but there seems to be parking out in the front with lifts. Service Staff: - They were very pleasant and always opened the door on entry/exit. Gym: - Fairly small, has a nice treadmill and a good cage to work with. Has a good amount of weights as well. Should support 3 - 4 people working out at any time. When I was there, there were 3 of us and felt a bit cramped. Rooftop Pool: - Nice. Nothing out of the ordinary. A bit small in my opinion. Rooftop bar: - went on a Friday at 8 pm and it was completely empty with top 40 playing. Bar was very mediocre and would not repeat. Room: - had the standard room with a queen mattress, very comfortable and elegant room. Do not like the fact that the toilet is completely separated from the bath area. If you go to the washroom, you'll have to go across the room to wash your hands. Also not a fan of the standing round shower which is not flat and has some slipping concerns. I do like the tablet that controls everything in the room. Location: - not too bad, its next to the mall and some Indian restaurants. We went to the Paradara massage place a few times which is very nice. However, it is across a bridge and underneath the bridge there were quite a few homeless shelters. They did not bother us at all though, they were doing their thing and did not see any pan handling.
